Readathon - Good Night!

Well, It's that time, I think. My statistics are pretty awful compared to the rest of you extraordinarily fast readers: I finished 3 and a half books, at a grand total of only 829 pages, having read about 21 hours and 30 minutes. But, I did get to read some very lovely books, and managed not to make a terrible fool of myself, and see some wonderful people read for a very long time. And, at least a LITTLE money will go to the Romany and Haitian charities from me, if not a GREAT deal :). Good Night!

I wouldn't say 829 pages, and reading 21 hours and 30 minutes is "awful"!!!! I think you did an incredibly impressive job! And you did lots of blogging too!

Congratulations on a day well spent!

Sheesh, Jason...you are being waaaaay too hard on yourself!!! Remember--when you insult your reading speed you insult my reading speed. ;) I didn't finish all that many more pages than you, and the majority of mine were graphic novel pages. Anyway, what really matters is whether or not you had fun...and I'm sincerely hoping the answer to that is YES!!!!

You did an awesome job! Congratulations. I just went back and read all your posts, and it sounds like you had a great day. And reading your tarot post for Eva made me want to learn more about tarot. My partner's into reading peoples' astrological charts, so I was seeing some intriguing parallels. Also, I'm so psyched that you loved Orlando! It has a very special place in my heart. :-)

I'm just going to chime in with everyone who says you did fantastic. Because you did! And it sounds like you had fun along the way! (which, really, is the point, right? Surely having fun was the point... Please tell me it was.)

And all bits help charity! Be proud of what you've raised for them and what you've accomplished! ^-^
